QUESTIONS & ANSWERS How can my child get to & from the airport to SSS Buckswood, SSS Guestling Hall & SSS Frewen?
We offer a small group pick-up/check-in service and private taxi transfers can also be arranged (see Booking Form for prices).
Where will my child live?
All our students at SSS Buckswood live on a safe campus in boarding school accommodation (1-4 in a room)
with girls and boys living in separate houses and areas under the supervision of residential staff.
All students at SSS Frewen live on the safe campus in one of the 2 boarding houses, with separate areas for boys and girls under residential staff supervision. There will be between 1-4 in a room; 90% of rooms have private shower and WC.
At SSS Guestling Hall our youngest learners live in rooms for 2-6 children. The residence is not for teenagers and is well-supervised.
How will my child's laundry be done?
Student laundry is done once a week.
How can my child receive pocket money?
Pocket money can be sent with the student and then handed over on arrival, along with passports and tickets for safe-keeping, or sent to SSS' account prior to arrival, or we can debit credit cards. Pocket money is given out twice a week at 'Student Bank' times.
How many meals a day are included?
Breakfast, lunch and supper are taken in the Dining Hall each day and supervised by SSS staff. Please inform SSS of any special dietary needs prior to arrival. Morning & afternoon drinks & biscuits are served at break times.
How can I contact my child at SSS?
Both boys' and girls' houses at SSS Buckswood have student payphones as does SSS Guestling Hall (see Student Info for numbers) and parents call the SSS office phone at SSS Frewen (see Student Info)
What is included in the weekly cost of the course?
All accommodation, meals, 16 hrs of English Language-based sessions and activities, all general sports, activities and events, two full day excursions & a Saturday trip, internet access and laundry.
